My School.
My school has a very good teaching-system. Besides, the teachers are all friendly and kind. Especially Mr. Tim. He’s my favorite teacher in the school. He teaches Social Study, he knows a lot! He’s very psychological and understands students’ feelings. He’s easy-going but also discipline. He wants his students to be relaxing and not to be tired or bored with schools during the classes, and of course, not breaking the rules, too. That’s why he’s kind and funny but still being strict. He treats his students fairly. For him, everybody is equal, and everybody needs to have free speech to discuss about their ideas. He never treated anyone better than the others.
The second best teacher in my “favorite list” is Mr. Sharp. Even though I’m not likely to get into Biology, but he’s really an interesting person to me. He’s easy-going, and really humorous. He always helps the students whenever they need. Especially, he never blamed on the students even though they did something wrong, he just reminds us about our responsibility to the class and must be honest. Sometimes during class time if the students look toted he always jokes and makes everyone feel better.
Next is Mr. Randy. Yeah he’s kind of funny and I think he’s cool. He loves to play with the kids and the kids love him too! He teaches Science, same as Biology. In every beginning of the class, he always shows us his “fact of the day” and lets us know something unbelievable or… weird that exists on the Earth. Jokes? He jokes everyday. He makes us laugh hard and he enjoys teaching us well. Such a nice teacher!
However, I am not going to tell you guys about all of my teachers. That’s a lot! I will just include some here. Well, as you know my school is the American International School, but we still have to wear uniforms. That’s one of the rules of the school. We have to wear the “unique banana-colored” every school day. Can’t say it looks good at all, but it is nice anyway. The school starts at 8 and if you’re late, you’ll have to come to Mr. Dave’s room and talk to him about it. Wow… scary. But not all. Mr. Dave is a disciplinarian, but sometimes he’s nice and kind to the students. Besides, Mr. Principal, as known as Mr. Francis, is a sweet and kind person too. He taught drama to the students once, but now he’s being a principal of the school. I don’t talk to him much, but if I have any problems, I can share with him and he could understand me somehow. =]
The cafeteria is on the 6th floor, and it’s the favorite place of all the students. We have breakfast, lunch and drinks there. In every breaktimes, we can gather there and talk talk talk. Especially for the girls. We like to chat there, and sit together. After that, we go to dance room up in the 7th floor to play and practice some new movements there. Next to dance room are the gyms. One for girls and one for boys, but it’s like we’re never separated, but we join together, girls can go to boys’ and boys and go to girls’.
We have 8 periods a day, which means we have 8 different classes. But sometimes we have 2/3 periods for a class/subject, and it’s really boring. Besides, we have some clubs for after school, like: soccer club, basketball club, dance club, boxing club, volunteer club… and so on. They’re all elective so you can choose your own. For each clubs, it starts at about 4:15 after school to 5:00. For 2 weeks ago our chool had its new system, which is a motivation for students to study harder, the Houses. We created house-system, which includes Red house (Dragon), Blue house (Phoenix), Green house (Turtle) and Yellow house (Kyle). Our school, from 6th graders to 11th graders, are divided to these 4 houses.
Later on I think my school might change a lot. I hope to see its changing to a better way.
